Congratulations to Colleyville Middle School’s Band, which has been named a Medal of Distinction Maestro Circle National Winner.
This distinction is the highest level of recognition and the second of two rounds in the Medal of Distinction competition, which is open to ensembles from across the country and adjudicated by nationally-recognized educators and conductors.
In the first round of competition held this past summer, CHHS, GHS and CMS all placed in the top tier, earning the prestigious Encore Circle national recognition.
The second round results were announced on Friday, October 28, with CMS placing at the top Maestro Circle level.
