Welcome to Colleyville Middle School!
Dr. Bryan Calvert was named the Principal of Colleyville Middle School at the May 20 Board of Trustees Meeting. Before his move to CMS, Calvert was the Principal at Bear Creek Elementary, where he led the campus since 2016. Prior to coming to GCISD, he served as an assistant principal, campus athletic director, and special education teacher in Irving ISD.
His leadership experience includes participating in the learning cohort for N2 Principal Learning Institute, mentoring rising leaders on the BCE campus, serving on the Curriculum Management Planning Committee and District Excellence Committee, and training district new hires in the Texas Teacher Evaluation & Support System (T-TESS).
Calvert earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University, a Master of Education in K-12 Administration from Lamar University and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. He was also awarded Outstanding Dissertation from DBU. He will begin his new role in July 2024.
