New to CMS : Lindy Morris

Hi Everyone!
My name is Lindy Morris, and I grew up in the small town of Lamesa, Texas. After graduating from Lamesa High School, I attended Texas Tech University and graduated with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences in 2018. Since then, I have taught Introduction to Culinary Arts, Child Development, and Counseling and Mental Health for the past two years at Lubbock-Cooper High School. During my time at Lubbock-Cooper, I married my husband, Logan, and we moved to the area this year. I am excited about my new career at Colleyville Middle School, and I can’t wait to meet my students! Teaching and giving to the community are two of my greatest passions. I truly believe that is through helping others, you build a better self.

A few fun facts about me you may want to know, when we moved, I learned that my family member, Charles Medlin, settled Roanoke, TX in the 1800’s. I have enjoyed going to the museum in Roanoke and viewing my family history. Along with museums, I enjoy gardening and cooking. I am looking forward to visiting the farmers markets here, and I believe I could not be living in a better area or working for a better school district!
